Chiricahua National Monument - 59 miles
59 miles from Katie's Cabins - 2 hrs.
Once the homeland of the Chiricahua Apaches led by Cochise and Geronimo, this rugged land served as the perfect position to resist the pioneer settlement for more than 25 years. A maze of rock spires, delicately balanced stones and giant columns, these weathered and fractured rocky sentries stand at eternal guard. Great hiking trails and beautiful views.
